Founded by Wim Pauw in 1985, Banff Caribou Properties Ltd. began with the acquisition of a retail mall in downtown Banff, Canada. The organization has grown and evolved and now it includes 15 hotels, 9 restaurants, 2 spas, a rental and retail store, and numerous commercial buildings in Banff and Canmore.
