Supporting an active, vibrant, and healthy community.

Our donations support projects that promote active lifestyles, enhance education opportunities, and nurture strong connections within our community. These programs and initiatives make the Bow Valley a better place for people to live, raise families, and enjoy mountain life.

 We will fund initiatives that:

 • Create opportunities to embrace our mountain culture, education, and recreation
• Make our community a positive place to build a career, live, and raise a family
• Positively impact our social service and community networks
• Improve the visitor experience
• Enhance infrastructure to beautify public areas and promote active transportation.

December 3 is Giving Tuesday, a day of community generosity to support charities and non-profits around the world.

Thanks to a matching gift from the Evergreen Foundation, every donation made to Rocky Mountain Adaptive on December 3 will be doubled, up to $10,000. Your contribution will have twice the impact, helping support people in our community to stay active, overcome barriers, and have fun.
Our $30 million donation will strengthen community well-being and support sustainable tourism growth in Banff. Through this transformational partnership with @ywcabanff and @sait, we are raising the bar on what giving back can look like.

“Since arriving in Banff, Wim has always looked beyond immediate success to invest in people and the community. This exciting new partnership is yet another step toward realizing his vision — a world-class centre for tourism and hospitality that fosters excellence, strengthens the delivery and expansion of locally-based critical social services and supports economic resiliency right in the heart of Canada’s most iconic national park.” - Cathy Geisler, Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation Executive Director

Boom. Pauw.

The Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation has just announced a $30 million commitment to create a new tourism and hospitality centre at the YWCA Banff. Yes, that’s the correct number of zeros!

This is the Foundation’s largest donation to date, and the realization of a vision that Wim Pauw has carried for decades. For years he has dreamed of a place where people with a passion for hospitality could come to learn, hone their skills, and build meaningful careers.

In partnership with SAIT’s world-class hospitality program, students will gain skills, practical experience, and tools they need to excel—all right here.
