Supporting an active, vibrant, and healthy community.
Our donations support projects that promote active lifestyles, enhance education opportunities, and nurture strong connections within our community. These programs and initiatives make the Bow Valley a better place for people to live, raise families, and enjoy mountain life.
We will fund initiatives that:
• Create opportunities to embrace our mountain culture, education, and recreation
• Make our community a positive place to build a career, live, and raise a family
• Positively impact our social service and community networks
• Improve the visitor experience
• Enhance infrastructure to beautify public areas and promote active transportation.

Students in the Through the Lens program were thrilled to see their printed photographs at the @banffcentre this week. Over the past few months, they`ve been photographing and developing pictures to tell their own unique stories through 35 mm film.
We`re very proud to support Through the Lens and its comeback to the Bow Valley. Originally started in 1997 at the @whytemuseum, the program worked with high school students from across the Bow Valley until 2017. Last year, it was revived by alumni Nic Latulippe and Soloman Chiniquay 📷
An exhibit with the photos will open at the Whyte Museum in June.

Regenerative tourism is about more than travel. It is about community, inclusivity, connection, and creating places where people feel welcome. When tourism gives back, everyone benefits.
There are only a few spots left for the Bow Valley Non-Profits Summit next week.
It is a great opportunity to connect with people and organizations committed to making a difference in our community, whether through their work, volunteer efforts, or broader involvement in the Bow Valley. 🌟
The Summit brings together a range of perspectives focused on strengthening the sector and supporting those behind it.
Taking place April 27 and 28 in Canmore and Banff, the event includes an evening gathering followed by a full day of sessions. Learn more for full details.

Sometimes, the smallest actions tell a bigger story. During a recent Highway 40 cleanup @friendsofkananaskis volunteers collected everything from everyday litter to unexpected items left behind along the roadside, a reminder of both the impact we have on these places and the care they require.
Efforts like this help protect the landscape, reduce wildlife risks, and keep these shared spaces accessible for everyone 🌱
At the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation, we are proud to provide ongoing support to the organizations and volunteers doing this important work. It reflects our commitment to strengthening community stewardship, protecting the places people care about, and supporting long-term impact across the Bow Valley.
Join more than 100 volunteers with @friendsofkananaskis on May 2, 2026, and be part of the effort
